Red is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action thriller film directed by Kishore Tirumala and produced by Krishna Chaitanya and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore under Sri Sravanthi Movies.
It stars Ram Pothineni in a double role alongside Nivetha Pethuraj, Malvika Sharma, and Amritha Aiyer. The film is a remake of the 2018 Tamil-language film Thadam written by Magizh Thirumeni. It has music composed by Mani Sharma while Sameer Reddy performed the cinematography. The film is scheduled to release in January 2021.
The story revolves around two lookalike men living in the same city. One of them attacks a man and leaves him dead, following which an investigation begins. A piece of strong evidence leads the cops to capture one of the lookalikes. However, just as they believe the case is closed, the cops also capture the second lookalike, and now have to find out which one among the two committed the murder.
